📅 May 31, 2026

• 🛠️ Fix Real-Debrid on English profiles: streams had stopped showing up (Stremio was collapsing them because they all shared the same title). Each result now shows its own filename, size and seeders → they all appear again.
• 🛠️ Fix Debrid streams (RD/TB) now show filename + size + seeders in the title, Torrentio-style. Before you'd just see the movie name repeated.
• 🛠️ Fix Platform catalogs (Mediaset Infinity, RaiPlay, TimVision, Sky Go, Prime Video) were coming back empty after TMDB renumbered its providers. IDs refreshed → catalogs populate again.
• ✨ New Wider RD and Torbox coverage on Italian titles: results now merge multiple cache-check sources in parallel instead of just one → more streams found.
• 🚀 Perf Backend reliability: the external sources (StremThru, Comet, MediaFusion) now run on dedicated infrastructure instead of shared public instances → far fewer 429/timeout errors under load.
• ✨ New Official Pezzottio Discord server: early updates, support and announcements. Link on the /configure page and in the addon manifest.
• ✨ New Changelog now available in English too at /changelog?lang=en, alongside the Italian version.

📅 May 30, 2026

• 🛠️ Fix GuardaSerie: ITA audio is now audible. The '&h=1' flag was missing from the master playlist URL — the CDN was serving the version without the separate ITA audio track. Same pipeline StreamingCommunity was already using correctly.
• 🚀 Perf Auto-detect VidXgo down: if the upstream returns 403 ip_range blocked, the provider goes into 1h cooldown instead of spamming requests pointlessly. Re-opens itself on the first successful health-check.
• 🛠️ Fix External aggregators (Torrentio, Comet, MediaFusion, StremThru, Meteor) were timing out on slower servers or on titles with a large pool: separate 4s cap (vs 2s internal) — streams from external addons now arrive reliably even on modest self-host setups.
• ✨ New Donations via Amazon gift card. 'Support Pezzottio' card in the /configure hero: buy an Amazon gift card of any value ($5+) on Bitrefill, send it as a gift to the listed email. Pay with card, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay or crypto — whatever you prefer. Zero account required on the Pezzottio side.
• ✨ New Multiple profiles now support per-profile Real-Debrid: each profile can have its own independent Torbox and/or Real-Debrid key, or inherit the global ones as fallback.
• ✨ New Anime via Kitsu: for long-running anime (One Piece, Naruto, Bleach...) automatic absolute episode → S/E TMDB translation. Example: One Piece ep 1163 on Kitsu = S23E08 in RD/Torbox lookup.
• ✨ New For anime, added Nyaa fallback (sub ITA + ITA) on both Torbox and Real-Debrid when the external cache API doesn't have the episode (gaps on recent releases).
• ⚙️ Setup /configure page refreshed: hero with 'NEW Real-Debrid' badge, updated subtitle (Torbox + Real-Debrid in parallel), filters and descriptions aligned with the new dual debrid support.
• ✨ New 'Copy manual link' button now on the extra catalog too (in addition to the existing one for Pezzottio).

• 🚨 Breaking Real-Debrid re-enabled. You can enter your RD key on /configure, in parallel with Torbox if you want. New cache check pipeline ~600ms (vs 2.5s of the old mylist+verify). For anime, added Nyaa fallback (sub ITA + ITA).
• ✨ New For series, the external API already provides pre-mapped file_index + rd_link_index: no more fragile heuristic matching on packs, the right episode file is always the right one.
• ⚙️ Setup Real-Debrid field re-enabled on /configure. You can configure it standalone or in parallel with Torbox — in the latter case the list shows both providers with [RD⚡] and [TB⚡] badges.
• 🚀 Perf Average observed cached hit rate: ~45% on popular titles (range 0-60% depending on the release). Total /stream latency on the RD side drops below 2s even on content with a large pool.

• ✨ New Built-in anime catalog (Kitsu): 5 sections on home — Pezzottio Anime / Airing / Most Popular / Top Rated / New. Anime search via Kitsu, full metadata (episode list with thumbnails, ratings, genres). No more dependency on external addons.
• ✨ New Optional 'Pezzottio Extra' catalog (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, Apple TV+, Crunchyroll, Paramount+ and more). One-click install from /configure alongside Pezzottio.
• 🚀 Perf Anime HTTP streams with lazy URL pattern: /stream opens in 2-3 seconds instead of 8. AnimeWorld/AnimeSaturn resolution happens ONLY on user click, no waiting when opening the list.
• ⚙️ Setup 'Filter anime results' section separated from movies and series. A single checkbox enables the Kitsu catalog + AW/AS/AU HTTP streams together. Clear warning: you must disable other anime catalogs (Anime Catalogs, Kitsu Anime, AIOCatalogs with anime sections) to avoid id conflicts.
• ⚙️ Setup 'Filter movie and series results' section independent from anime: 3 modes (All / Torrent-Torbox only / Italian HTTP only from GuardaSerie + StreamingCommunity).

• ✨ New New HTTP provider: AnimeUnity. There are now 3 Italian anime sources in parallel (AnimeWorld + AnimeSaturn + AnimeUnity), with native Italian audio where available.
• 🛠️ Fix Anime matching rewritten from scratch: now finds titles in romaji/Japanese too (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru, Sousou no Frieren, Boku no Hero Academia, etc.) thanks to AniList aliases automatically fetched from IMDB.
• 🛠️ Fix AnimeWorld now finds older anime too (Dragon Ball Z, GT, classic Naruto, Bleach, etc.) — the internal /api/search endpoint bypasses the limited 'homepage' view of /filter.
• 🛠️ Fix AnimeSaturn now supports HLS players (Naruto, Bleach and other anime with .m3u8 playlists actually start instead of returning an empty stream).
• 🛠️ Fix Strict disambiguation between anime with single-letter suffixes: 'Dragon Ball Z' no longer confused with 'Dragon Ball', 'Spy x Family' fixed, etc. Hard penalty on sequel modifiers (Kai/Super/GT/Movie/Special) when the searched title doesn't have them.
• 🛠️ Fix 'Smashed' title matching: 'Mushishi' finds 'Mushi-Shi', 'Steins;Gate' finds 'steins gate', '86 - Eighty Six' finally found.
• ✨ New Permanent IMDB → provider slug mapping: the first time an anime is searched, the AnimeWorld/AnimeSaturn/AnimeUnity slugs are saved to cache. Subsequent lookups are instant (search skipped).
• ✨ New TMDB id support (for users on Stremio's TMDB addon instead of Cinemeta): tmdb:NNN resolved via ani.zip + direct TMDB API → IMDB fallback. Works for anime, movies, non-anime series.

• 🚨 Breaking Multiple profiles: you can now generate multiple links in one go (e.g. one per family member). Each link gets installed in a different Stremio profile. Choose whether to use the same Torbox key for all profiles or a different key for each.
• ✨ New /changelog page with timeline of updates by date + category (New / Fix / Setup / Perf / Breaking) + top banner for breaking changes persistent until dismissed.
• ✨ New Official PEZZOTTIO logo added to the addon manifest.
• ✨ New Auto-prefetch of the next episode: when you watch a series on Torbox, the next episode is loaded in the background. You click → it starts instantly.

• 🚨 Breaking Pezzottio is now officially Torbox-only. Real-Debrid is under development (RD disabled the cache check API, support is on standby until we find an alternative).
